European stocks end session with gains

The European stocks are ending the European session with gains:

  • German Dax up 1.2%
  • France’s CAC up 0.9%
  • UKS’s FTSE up 0.19%
  • Spain’s Ibex up 0.69%
  • Italy’s FTSE MIB up 0.26%
  • Portugal’s PSI20 up 0.44%

The benchmark 10 year yields are up 0.8 to 3.1 bps. 

The US stocks are trading at record levels for the S&P and the Nasdaq.

  • S&P is up 20.6 points ro 0.72%
  • Nasdaq is up 73 points or 0.93%
  • Dow is up 227 points or 0.88%

The US yields are higher with the yield curve steepening in the process. 

In the forex market, the EUR is the strongest. The USD has fallen and is the weakest. The EURUSD is down -0.44% and the biggest mover as European traders exit (London is on holiday today).
